What is Mi Story jewellery made of?
Our jewellery is made from 925 sterling silver and plated with thick 14K gold or rhodium plating (1-2 microns for most of the items).
All pieces are nickel-free, ensuring they last longer and remain stunning with proper care.
Is Mi Story jewellery waterproof?
While our pieces are made with durable materials such as sterling silver and thick gold or rhodium plating, exposure to water can cause the plating to wear off more quickly.
To keep your jewellery in the best condition, we recommend removing it before swimming, showering, or engaging in any water activities. Always ensure your jewellery is completely dry before storing it. Proper care will help maintain the beauty and longevity of your Mi Story pieces.
More detailed Care Guidelines you can find HERE
How do I look after my Mi Story pieces?
Keep it Clean: Clean your jewellery regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove dirt and oils. Avoid abrasive materials to prevent scratching.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Keep your jewellery away from cleaning products as well beauty products and perfumes. Remove your pieces before swimming, bathing, or cleaning.
Moisture Control: Moisture can damage the plating. Avoid wearing your jewellery during water activities, and ensure it’s completely dry before storing.
Proper Storage: Store your jewellery in a dry, cool place, away from sunlight and moisture. Consider using a jewellery box or pouch to protect it from scratches and tarnishing.
Skin Allergies
While we hope you have a smooth experience with our jewellery, we understand that some individuals may have sensitivities to certain metals or plating materials used in the production process.
If you have a known jewellery allergy or sensitivity, we strongly recommend consulting a healthcare professional before making a purchase. In these cases, it’s best to choose hypoallergenic options and avoid jewellery made from non-solid gold or silver materials.
Please note, it is your responsibility to ensure the items you purchase are suitable for your skin, especially if you have a known allergy or sensitivity. As a result, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for items purchased despite a pre-existing reaction to metals.
